HEALTHCARE

SPECIALISTS

  • There are few, if any other companies that can service the physical and consulting application on as many Joint Commission Standards / Elements of Performance and Conditions of Participation as we can.
  • Documentation is key. Most service providers (fire alarm companies / damper companies)do not work regularly in healthcare and do not understand the need for accurate and informative reports and inventories.
  • We have supplied, collaborated, managed and consulted on a number of eSOC and PFI projects. Now that PFIs are no longer available to use, it is imperative to know where your weaknesses are before your survey and have them fixed.
  • We view ourselves as a member of your compliance team. Whether its is in the front seat or behind the curtain, we work to make your job easier and your facility safer.
  • Guardian Compliance can consult on or complete fire alarm and damper inspections. These Joint Commission Standards tend to be low hanging fruit when it comes to inventory and proof of testing / repair.
  • BOTTOM LINE; WE GET HEALTHCARE. WE UNDERSTAND WHAT THE REQUIREMENTS ARE AND WHAT PRESSURES ARE PLACED ON THE ORGANIZATION AND ITS EMPLOYEES.

guardian in healthcare

Healthcare is one of the most regulated industries in America and it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with the requirements. Whether its money, staffing, time or knowledge, it is nearly impossible to manage all of the inspection, testing and maintenance requirements set forth by NFPA Codes and Standards, CMS Conditions of Participation, The Joint Commission Standards, etc. Groups such as The Joint Commission have made massive changes recently to their standards to match what CMS requires from them and their deemed status. Credit for a BMP program is long gone, PFIs have gone out of the window and the scoring system has been revised. On top of all of that, most of us are getting the first taste of the 2012 Life Safety Code and the auxiliary codes and standards that go along with the 2012 edition.

The good news is that you do not have to go at it alone. Guardian has an expansive resume of services and clients that can assist you in maintaining a safe facility. In the past, our services have been used prior to or immediately following a survey. We have, however, found the greatest successes occur when we are hands on with our clients regularly and not just every three years.

Guardian started in and is deeply entrenched within the healthcare industry. These are our roots and we understand what it takes to make your survey highly successful. With all of the recent changes in the industry, perfection seems to be expected and we will get you as close as possible.
